Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 June 2026

MirrorLane collects no data. The app helps you prepare to drive on the opposite side of the road, and everything it needs to do that stays on your device. This policy explains what that means.

The short version

  • We collect no personal data. Nothing about you is sent to us or to anyone else.
  • You don't need an account to use MirrorLane.
  • Your trip setup and daily practice progress are stored only on your device.
  • There's no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising.

Information stored on your device

To make your plan work, MirrorLane keeps the following on your device, where it stays unless you delete the app or reset it:

  • Your trip setup — which side of the road you normally drive on and which side you're travelling to.
  • Your practice-plan window (for example, the number of days until your trip) and your day-to-day progress.
  • App settings such as sound preferences.

This information is held in the app's local storage on your iPhone. We don't receive a copy of it, and deleting the app removes it from your device.

Information we collect

None. MirrorLane does not collect, transmit or store any personal information about you on our servers. We don't use analytics, crash-reporting or advertising tools, and the app contains no third-party tracking SDKs.

  • We don't ask for your name, email address or phone number to use the app.
  • We don't collect your location, and MirrorLane is not a navigation or live-driving app.
  • We don't access your contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
  • We don't track you, and we have nothing to sell or share, because we don't collect it in the first place.

App Store purchases

If MirrorLane offers a paid app or in-app purchases, those transactions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card details. Apple's handling of payment information is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

MirrorLane is intended for licensed adult drivers preparing for a trip. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

  • You can clear everything the app stores at any time by deleting MirrorLane from your device.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information a company holds about you. Because MirrorLane holds no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, change or erase — but you're welcome to contact us with any question.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected here on this page.

Questions about privacy? Email us at mirrorlanesupport@remdebund.com.

If you choose to email us, we'll see your email address and whatever you include in your message — that's simply how email works. We use it only to reply and help with your query; we don't add it to any mailing list or share it. If you'd rather we never saw your real address, you're welcome to use Apple's Hide My Email or write from an alias — we can still reply.

Remember: MirrorLane is a familiarisation and practice tool, not driving instruction, and does not replace careful real-world driving or the local road rules of your destination.
